Wartime Fate

 The best currently found roster evidence is conflicting, with the West Point MTB-3 roster reportedly giving him as killed on 9 April 1942 near Cebu City, while other named POW-style records that confirm his shipmates do not yet securely place him in captivity or liberation. His later wartime fate therefore remains unresolved in the reviewed public record.
