Wartime Fate

POW summaries state that after the loss of his PT boat, he joined the defense of Bataan and Corregidor, was captured after Corregidor’s fall on 6 May 1942, and returned to U.S. military control in August 1945. The West Point MTB-3 and Oryoku Maru rosters are consistent with that survival path.
